How
many hosting plans do you offer?
We offer four different hosting
plans. Each plan is priced according to the features and contract
length. We also offer Free
Domain Parking and URL pointers.
Where do I sign up for a hosting account
with Triad Hosting Inc.?
Please use the Online
Order Form.
What
type of payment you do accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express
and company / personal checks.
Will
you pro-rate my account when I place a hosting order?
All hosting accounts technically begin on the 1st of the
month. Your bill may reflect
a pro-rated amount for the first month. For example, if you signed up on the 15th of the month,
you would ONLY be charged for the last 15 days of the first month. All accounts
renew on the 1st day of the month.
Do
you offer a money back guarantee?
If you are not satisfied
with our service, you may receive a pro-rated refund. You must notify us
within 30 days of the date that the account was first activated. We
do not refund setup fees or domain name purchases.
How long does it
take for my account to be setup?
Our goal is to process
orders within 24 hours after payment is received.
How do I know my hosting
account is active?
You will receive a "Welcome" email from our support team with
all the information needed to begin. This email
will contain your userID, password and FTP information. You will be able
to upload files to your new web site immediately thereafter.
My new web site does not display in my browser?
Before a domain is active,
registration of the domain name must occur or name servers must be
modified (See
below). Domain name changes usually take 24 - 72 hours to complete. Until
that time, you can only access your domain via the IP address.
How do I register a new domain name?
Three ways:
- We can register the domain name when you order
a hosting plan. You will be listed as the owner of the
domain, and you can move it to any other registrar at anytime.
Your domain name will automatically renew unless you notify us 30
days prior to the renewal date.
- If you don't need hosting just yet, we can register
the domain and park it at no charge for you. This allows you to reserve a domain name, but not have to pay for hosting until you
are ready to develop your web site.
- You can purchase domains through any
ICANN-accredited
registrar. When you make the purchase please point the domain name to our servers (see below).
How do I point my domain name
to your servers?
You must go to the registrar where the domain
name was purchased and change the name servers to our Name
Servers.
Note: Most registrars have a customer login where your
account can easily be modified
How do I contact Triad Hosting if I need
support or have billing questions?
Most common questions can be answered
in the Customer Support Area which is available
24/7. For additional questions,
use the Contact Form
first, so a record of your
request is on file.
Does
my hosting account automatically renew?
At the end of the
contract period, the hosting account will automatically renew. We
will then invoice you via postal mail or email. Payment is due upon
receipt. You can pay your invoice via check or credit card. You must
contact us 10 days PRIOR to the renewal date to cancel your account.
Can I
upgrade my hosting plan?
Yes, you can upgrade your current hosting plan without penalty. Any monies pre-paid will be
applied to the new plan.
Can I cancel my
account anytime?
Accounts are prepaid (annually, bi-annually, quarterly or monthly). We
do not issue pro-rated refunds for cancellations, unless it is within the
first 30 days of the account setup (see money back guarantee above).
What
happens if I exceed my hosting plan's disk space and/or bandwidth limits?
You will be notified by our support staff. At that time, you have the option of upgrading your plan or paying
an overage charge. (See Terms of Service)
